High Alloy Steels and Schäffler Diagram

I have introduced Schäffler diagrams schematically in "The science of alloying". Anton L. Schäffler published the first one in 1949; W.T De-Long improved on it in 1974; that's why it is sometime called the Schäffler - De Long diagram. Here is a "real" one with a lot of information about real steels drawn in:
