Module Offer

On this site you can find information on the modules on offer by the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology for the institute's own degree programmes as well as the degree programmes from other institutes at Kiel University.

Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (international Master)

Students put together their chosen curriculum at the start of the Master's degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology. They may select a curriculum with or without a designated specialisation.

Information about the modules on offer can be found in the module handbook for the degree programme (see the passage on “Module handbooks” in this section). The module handbook contains the usual time when a module is offered. There may be deviations to these times. There may be a few exceptional instances when a module is not offered or when the lectures associated with a module are moved to a different semester. These exceptional instances will be announced as soon as possible in the document “Information about the modules on offer”.

Potential specialisations are listed in the degree-specific examination regulations.

The curriculum is compiled in accordance with the provisions in the degree-specific examination regulations. An editable PDF form is available to help you compile your curriculum (see the passage on “Form for Compiling a Curriculum” in this section).

In terms of formal validity, each curriculum requires the written approval of the Chairperson of the Examination Board. The same applies for any changes to an approved curriculum. Students who are starting their Master’s degree in the winter semester 2019/20 must submit their approved curricula to the Examination Office for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology by Friday 13.11.2020 at the latest.
