Field of interest:

Main field of interest is electrospun polymer \ semiconductor nanofibres for sensor applications.

Nanofiber systems with Light sensitive properties: This polymer based system has the property of changing its conformation when exposed to light. This results in two interesting properties, change in wettability and change in dimensions. Possible applications are cell growth substrate, membranes and actuators.

Semiconductor nanofibres: Other area of my interest is semiconductor nanofibers for potential application in gas sensing.
