Metallization of organic semiconductors for electronic applications

Research in this field extends earlier work of the group on metallization of polymers, the formation of metal-polymer interfaces, and, in particular, metal diffusion in polymers into organic semiconductors for applications in organic field effect transistors. The investigations were carried out within the framework of a priority program of the German Research Foundation (DFG) in close cooperation with Prof. Rainer Adelung, when he was still a member of the Chair for Multicomponent materials.
