Technology transfer and partners
We have been cooperating with many universities and research centers in Germany and all over the world as reflected in our publications. Concerning technology transfer, Prof. Faupel founded the society “North European Initiative Nanotechnology Schleswig-Holstein e.V.”. This society, which is now funded by the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Economics and the European Union, aims to bring together nanotechnology stakeholders in Schleswig-Holstein with partners from industry research institutes and academics in North Germany and the Baltic region. In addition, technology transfer occurs in many other ways ranging from the more than 50 PhD alumni who now apply their knowledge in industry through joint projects with industrial partners to projects directly supported by companies.
