Chair for Multicomponent Materials

The Chair for Multicomponent Materials was founded in 1994 and currently focusses on advanced functional materials that are tailored down to the nanoscale. We pursue a strongly interdisciplinary approach and have been involved in various collaborative research centers and other initiatives. The chair has published more than 300 publications in renowned journals and produced more than 50 PhDs. Moreover, several professors originate from the Chair for Multicomponent Materials.
