Evaluation

All accepted applications will be evaluated as follows:

Kind of bachelor's degree (0 - 12 points) (see requirements/Bachelor Degree)

  • What kind of bachelor's degree do you have?
  • Are you specialized in materials science?

 

Grade of bachelor's degree (0 - 12 points)

  • What is your GPA in relation to the highest and lowest possible grades?

 

Knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (0 - 4 points each)

  • What are your grades in the basic classes of these subject in relation to the highest and lowest possible grades?

 

You will have to score at least 24 Points for admission.

 

If you are missing certain modules, you may be required to complete up to 30 additional credits during your master's degree programme. If you lack more than 30 credits, you will be denied admission.

 

This evaluation is crosschecked by several professors and the chair holder of the examination board. You will be informed about the results via email.


This is just the first step in your admission process, as we only grant a subject-related admission. In a second step we forward all documents to the  CAU International Center. They will take a look at all formal aspects of your admission and will contact you afterwards. They are also responsible for sending the official admission letters.
