Electro-Mechanical Characterization

A 3 -axis motorized micromanipulator (right) coupled with a balance (left) makes mechanical characterization easy.

Speed, maximum deformation, step size and the numbers of cycles can be adjusted with a self-developed LabVIEW program.

Electrical characterization is done by combining high precision sourcing from +/-210 V @ max current of 120 mA (Keythley SMU 2400) with fast current measurements with the picoamperemeter (Keythley 6485). The self developed Labview programm enables us to achieve  I-V-curves and even perfrom cyclic measurements.
