Research

MEMS magnetoelectric sensor fabrication

Christine Kirchhof received her Dr.-Ing. in material science and engineering for her work on “Resonating magnetoelectric sensors for the detection of low frequency magnetic fields” in 2017. As a member of the CRC1261 (https://sfb1261.de/index.php/en/) her research focus is the design and fabrication of magnetoelectric sensors. By establishing and running a cross-institutional process technology platform in the Kieler Nanolab, incorporating new concepts and processes to the newest state of research she supports the PhD students in their research.
