Details

Justin Jetter received the M.Sc. degree in materials science and engineering from Kiel University, Germany. He received the Ph.D. degree with the Inorganic Functional Materials Group as part of the DFG funded "Reinhart Koselleck-Projekt" on crystallographically compatible shape memory ceramics. His main research interests are phase transformations in ZrHfO4 based ceramics. As such he focuses on measurements of thermal properties and crystallographic changes during phase transitions. As such he is responsible for the groups Rigaku SmartLab 9kW XRD system that is used to measure, among other things, lattice parameters and crystallographic structures in a temperature range from -100 °C to 1100 °C.
