Conference for student research
in the field of electrical engineering
in relation to environment and society
September 29 – October 1, 2024, Kiel, Germany

Please contact stufotech(at)tf.uni-kiel.de in order to stay informed on future events - a follow-up of StuFoTech is possible.

The first Conference for Student Research in Electrical Engineering (StuFoTech) from 29.09. to 01.10.2024 took place in Kiel: Students from different parts of Europe visited us at the Baltic Sea, met interesting people from different fields and networked during the presentation sessions, lab tours and various kinds of socializing events.

Following, you find information which can be helpful for a probable future conference for student research.

Who may apply?
All students (Bachelor/Master) and doctoral candidates with a connection to electrical engineering from Germany and Europe can submit their interesting student research contributions - various disciplines are welcome, e.g. also students and doctoral candidates in materials science, computer science, biology, physics and medicine. Also of interest are contributions from the humanities that examine the role of electrical engineering from a social perspective.

Diverse contribution formats are welcome!
Present your Bachelor's thesis, project work, Master's thesis or your research projects and results as part of your doctorate. The work does not have to be completed - your ideas and plans are also of interest.

Contributions can be in the form of a short presentation or a poster. You can publish your final submissions worldwide open access via the MACAU publication server after the conference.

The conference is organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Kiel University.
