Scholarships

StipendiumThere are numerous opportunities to get a scholarship. We will explain this in more detail here with the example of a scholarship from the "Studienstifung des deutschen Volkes". In addition to this foundation, there are numerous other funding opportunities, but often similar selection processes are used here.

The foundations often support talented and/or committed students. The selection process of the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes" is based on a mission statement that evaluates the criteria

  • performance,
  • initiative und
  • responsibility.

Admission can be made by these means (among others):

  • Examination office proposal

In our institute, one or two students from the second year of study are usually proposed. A professor must support the proposal. Students are selected who have achieved outstanding professional achievements. In addition, for obtaining scholarships, it is also necessary that the students have distinguished themselves through social commitment.

  • Self-application

In addition to the proposals submitted by the institute, it is also possible to apply for a scholarship. Students in the first and second semesters can register for the selection test of the Study Foundation at the beginning of each calendar year. the test is offered in various test centers nationwide.

We recommend that you study the respective guidelines of the foundations and organization carefully before applying.
