Scholarships

StipendiumThere are numerous opportunities to get a scholarship. We will explain this in more detail below using the example of a scholarship from the "Studienstifung des deutschen Volkes". In addition to this foundation, there are numerous other funding opportunities, but often similar selection processes are used here as with the "Studienstifung des deutschen Volkes".

The foundations often support talented and/or committed students. The selection process of the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes" is based on a mission statement that includes the criteria

  • performance,
  • initiative und
  • responsibility.

Admission can be made by these means (among others):

  • Examination Office proposal

In our Institute, usually one or two students from the second year of study are proposed. A professor must support the proposal. Students are selected who show outstanding academic performance. In addition, it is also necessary for the receipt of a scholarship to distinguish oneself positively through special social commitment.

  • Self-application

In addition to suggestions by the Institute, self-application for a scholarship is also possible. Students in the first and second semesters can register for the selection test of the "Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes" at the beginning of each calendar year. the test is offered in various test centers nationwide.

We recommend that you study the guidelines of the respective foundations and organizations carefully before applying.
