What English language skills are required and what certificates are accepted?

Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency via the results of a test. Only the following English tests are recognized. The minimum score required in each case is also stated:

  •     TOEFL (CBT 220, PBT 550, IBT 80),
  •     Cambridge B2 First Test (173 or above),
  •     Cambridge C1 Advanced Test (160 or above),
  •     IELTS (6.5 or above),
  •     TOEIC (800 or above).

Applicants who have completed their previous studies in English can also prove sufficient English language skills by means of an official letter confirming the teaching language of their university. You do not have to submit the result of one of the above tests. However, submitting the result of one of the above-mentioned recognized tests may enhance their application.
