Dear prospective students,

We are happy that you are interested in pursuing a degree programme in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in Kiel. In our Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Business Management degree programmes, we offer interesting, technically developed study concepts.

The degree programmes are at a high level, but lecturers make a great deal of effort to guide you through your degree programme successfully. In particular for new students, the mathematics refresher course before the degree programme starts, and the weekly first semester supervision during the first semester, along with general tutorials in small groups, all help make the jump from school to the university.

With the seven semesters of our Bachelor's degree programme, we prepare you well for a scientifically oriented three-semester Master's degree programme in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Business Management. You can pursue both Master's degree programmes in Kiel as well.

Take advantage of these Internet pages of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Kiel University for basic and further information about the degree programme, including experience reports on the programme and industry internships.
