Assistant contracts for outstanding female Bachelor's graduates
Female students, who completed a Bachelor's degree program ant the Faculty of Engeneering with an ECTS grade of B or better receive the offer of an assistant contract to work in the research of one of the Faculty of Engenieering groups together with their Bachelor certificate.
- The following personal factors may lead to the decision on the offer of an assistant position being based on a better grade than the actual Bachelor’s grade:
- For caring for each biological child under the age of 14, 0.1 points per child will be subtracted from the Bachelor's grade.
- A total of 0.1 points can be subtracted for special achievements, awards and prizes from the last two years, a professional activity as a Bachelor's graduate or a specialized internship following the Bachelor's program of a duration of at least six months.
- A total of 0.1 points can be subtracted for extracurricular activities during the Bachelor's program or in the period between the Bachelor's and Master's programs, such as voluntary work in the social, academic, religious or political spheres or in associations or clubs.
- A total of 0.1 points may be subtracted for special personal circumstances such as illnesses and disabilities, special family circumstances such as caring for close relatives in need of care, or for a personal background as a "first-generation student" (i.e. that neither parent has an academic degree).
Please submit a copy of your Bachelor's degree transcript by email to the responsible examination office along with supporting documentation for the personal factors to be considered.
To conclude an assistantship contract, you can then contact the chair whose research topics interest you and submit the letter regarding the offered assistantship. You will then determine the duration and the monthly amount of hours up to a maximum of 180 hours together with the chair in whose research area you will be working. The chair does not have any staff costs due to the conclusion of the contract.
