Analog Devices International (NASDAQ: ADI) is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of a broad portfolio of high performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs) used in virtually all types of electronic equipment. The 1200+ employee sized research and development centre in Limerick (Ireland) offers a broad spectrum of resources in the field of materials science and electrical engineering. The development resources will be presented along with an overview about the capabilities at its attached wafer fab. Examples of ADI’s magnetic sensing portfolio and possible applications exemplify how present and future electronic trends are targeted.
