Printing

There are 4 printers available to students:

• Mensa printing room: OKI B6300 (black&white) and HP 3800 (color)
• PC lab in building F: HP 3005 (black&white)
• PC lab in building B: OKI 430 (black&white)

Costs:

• Black&White 4 ct per sheet, 3 ct per duplex sheet
• Color 10 ct per sheet, 8 ct per duplex sheet

You can reduce printing costs by using the duplex- and zoom-function. Please make sure to understand the terms sheet, page, duplex and zoom-function by reading the printing-for-students-pdf.

Starting with the 1st of April 2011, students have to prepay before printing. Make a deposit of at least 5 Euro (per deposit) in room A-021a at Ms. Hacker´s office (only in the morning until 11:45). You will receive a receipt for your deposit which you have to bring to room A-007 ( Mr. Newe) or A-021 (Mr. Firnau) to fill up your print quota.

Your current print quota can be checked out on the terminalservers Superman and Spiderman by starting the desktop icon "Check your printquota.RDP". Simply give in your account data and follow the instructions. Another possibility to read the print quota can be found on the PC burn (situated in the pc lab in building F) or on the scanner pc in the library. Click the tray icon "Print Manager Plus - Client".

Employees and scientific assistants have access to the printers of their chair. Please ask your chair administrator or technician.
