Some frequently asked question and our frequently provided answers:

question:
I studied (something) and have a CGPA of (X.Y). Shall I apply?
answer:
We do consider many bachelor's degree studies to be suitable for our graduate program. Check our requirements sites for details.

question:
While completing the online formalities i need to upload some documents like my degree and transcripts, I wanted to know that if all my documents are issued in English language then do i need to get them certified before uploading them or i can upload them as it is.
answer:
You can upload your documents in English language without a certification. But note that you will need certified documents in case of admission at the time of registration in Kiel!

question:
You have mentioned in your application requirements that an applicant has to submit "certified copies" of documents.
What do you mean by certified copies of documents?
Who is able to certify them? From my University or any Professor or Foreign Office or HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan) or any other body?
answer:
We will accept all copies, which are certified by an official institution, in your case your university, HEC or a notary.

question:

I want to know the importance of German language for pursuing my Masters.
I have not started learning the language yet, will it be a barrier for my admission into the program?
answer:
The course is completely taught in English. Knowledge of German can be helpful for your day-to-day, but is not required for your studies.

question:
I would like to apply for the master course for the forthcoming winter semester in your university, but i will complete my bachelor course at the end of june, so I don`t have completed bachelor course yet ,and I can only send my university transcripts, is it acceptable for you?
answer:
Many applicants receive their bachelor's degree at a later point in time. We will accept your application without the official bachelor's degree for now. But if you would be admitted for the study course it will be considered a provisional admission until the CAU International Center received the certified bachelor's degree.
Please note that it is mandatory to submit a current Transcript of Records, including GPA and Grading System in any case!

question:
My previous studies were held in English. Do I still need to provide an English language test?
answer:
If you provide a document (e.g. your degree, transcript) stating that the teaching language of your previous studies was English, we will accept your application.

question:
I made a mistake filling out my application form and only noticed that after submitting it. What shall I do?
answer:

Is there a fee?
answer:
There is no fee for the application. There is no tuition fee. However, there is a fee for student services, see here.
