New Development

 

• 11 Jun 2013: A new article "Fabrication of macroscopically flexible and highly porous 3D semiconductor networks from interpenetrating nanostructures by simple flame transport approach" has been accepted for publication in the journal "Particle & Particle Systems Characterization". 

 

• 29 Oct 2012: A new article "A novel concept for self-reporting materials: Stress sensitive photoluminescence in ZnO tetrapod filled elastomers" has been accepted for publication in the journal "Advanced Materials". 

 

• 28 Sep 2012: A new article "Prophylactic, therapeutic and neutralizing effects of zinc oxide tetrapod structures against herpes simplex virus type-2 infection" has been accepted for publication in Antiviral Research. 

 

• 21 Sep 2012: A new article "Tin oxide nanowires suppress herpes simplex virus-1 entry and cell-to-cell membrane fusion" has been accepted for publication in Plos ONE. 

 

• 07 Sep 2012: Our recent researches on aerographite and polymer joining are reported in the magazine "Nanotimes" (flash) (pdf). 

 

• 06 Sep 2012: Nature Highlight: Sticking the unstickable. 

• 10 Aug 2012: We and our collabration partner have made a new material called "Aerographite". The result is published as the front cover of the journal "Advanced Materials". As the material incorporates most air in the structure, it has got a competition in economical point of view: "The Aerographite Dollar".

• 01 Aug 2012: PlosOne article: "Solvent Free Fabrication of Micro and Nanostructured Drug Coatings by Thermal Evaporation for Controlled Release and Increased Effects".

• 16 Jul 2012: Our group canoe trip from Preetz to Raisdorf + BBQ.
