Rodrigo Lima de Miranda, M.Sc.
Rodrigo Lima de Miranda studied Mechanical Engineering at the Catholic
University – Belo Horizonte and Paulista University – Sao Paulo, Brazil.
During his studies he had worked in automobile industry including tests
development, CAD designer, product development and material cost reduction
management. He obtained his Master in Material Science degree in 2006 from
the Christian Albrechts University - Kiel, Germany in the chair of
Prof. Dr. Franz Faupel. In August 2006, he joined the Caesar, Bonn, Germany
in the Group of Smart Materials to start his PhD in the field of Shape Memory
Technology (SFB 459). In April 2007, he moved to Faculty of
Engineering - CAU - KIEL - Chair for Inorganic Functional Materials in
