Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Master of Science (M.Sc) degrees

The Faculty of Engineering provides study courses with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. Enrollment to master studies is possible only after a very successful bachelor degree. It is possible to begin a usually two-year lasting master's degree study directly after the bachelor degree or later, perhaps after several years in practice. It deepens specific professional  fields and allows a scientific career. Under certain conditions doctorate (PhD) is possible.

Standard period of study

The standard period of study for a bachelor degree is normally 6 semesters (3 years) in germany. The master degree studies normally last 4 semesters (2 years). Some courses may vary from this. Please inform yourself about the exact standard period in the study information sheets.

Diplom

The old degrees "Diplom-Ingenieur" resp. "Diplom-Informatiker" are not offered any longer.
